Site content
The guides on our blog are general information; they are not methodological advice for a particular study. Tables and charts are illustrative unless stated otherwise. The content is our copyright: you may quote it with attribution, but you may not reproduce or republish it in full.
Scope of the service and academic integrity
Celsus provides methodological, analytical and reporting support. It supports the author’s own work and never substitutes for it: you approve the analytical decisions and you defend the results. Writing your thesis, dissertation or article for you, or acting in your place in an examination or viva, is outside the service. Complying with your institution’s academic integrity and permitted-support rules is your responsibility.
Quotes, contract and payment
- Quotes are specific to the project and are issued after we review the scope; there is no published price list.
- The work is governed by the individual agreement sent to you. Where that agreement and this page differ, the agreement prevails.
- Payment is taken by card through Stripe or by bank transfer. Card details are never seen or stored by Celsus.
- Work beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately and only carried out once you approve it.
Delivery and revisions
The delivery date is set once the scope is fixed. If the dataset arrives incomplete, corrupt or structured differently from what was described, the timeline is reassessed. Errors and omissions within the agreed scope are corrected at no charge; new analyses requested by a supervisor or reviewer are a change of scope.
Confidentiality
Your data is used solely for the agreed analysis. We sign a non-disclosure agreement on request, and data and code are deleted on completion if you wish. See the Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled.
What we do and do not promise
We stand behind the methodological soundness of the analysis and the fit of the reporting to your target standard. Outcomes that depend on reviewers, examiners, funders or on the data itself — acceptance of an article, approval of a thesis, award of a grant, or a hypothesis being supported — are not promised.
Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to direct loss caused by our fault and capped at the fee paid for the work concerned. Indirect loss, loss of profit and the consequences of third-party decisions are excluded. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are contracting with our Turkish company, the Turkish terms of use apply instead. Consumers keep the statutory rights available to them under the law of their country of residence.
